Solm is a New Zealand startup skincare brand founded on natural, simple ingredients. Starting a new brand or project can feel overwhelming, but I’ve organised our workflow by creating an AI brain that manages daily tasks like checking supplier communication, inventory levels, reviewing and optimising creative briefs, and even supporting social media and email content.

The most important part? Working with the team to map current state vs desired state, capturing goals and painpoints to help identify the biggest gaps and opportunity areas. Now, I’m continually updating it with monthly team learning check-ins to understand how they’re using it and how we can optimise it.

The goal is to have marketing, finance, supply and inventory all automated to allow us to focus on business strategy, creatives, content production and new product pipelines. Allowing a small team to scale.
